One of the most beautiful beaches is certainly the spectacular small beach of Poltu di Li Cogghi, near the Piccolo Romazzino, even known as the Princes Beach (Spiaggia del Principe), as it is thought of as being his favourite. It is to be reached after a 10-15 minutes walk from the sign post which closes the access to cars.
Really spectacular is the beach of Liscia Ruja: very smooth sand, turquoise coloured water and dense Mediterranean macchia. It is to be reached following a path on the right hand side of the road which goes from Abbiadori to Cala di Volpe.
Extremely beautiful is also the beach called Pevero, where small dunes meet the emerald see.
Just as beautiful but certainly less “wild” is the beach nearby, the Piccolo Pevero. |
